This magnificent sunny, spacious home named Casa Grande is Ideal for families, holidays & entertaining.
The decor is a combination of modern clean lines and antique pieces. Large light and airy rooms with high ceilings ensure plenty of light throughout the living space. Furnished with authentic Persian rugs and original artworks. The open plan kitchen leads onto an enclosed veranda, and is perfect on those winter days when you need a smaller space to sit, and relax with a glass of wine, overlooking the mountain view.
This area overlooks the backyard entertainment area, which is a 8 meter under cover deck with sun loungers & barbeque.
This space offers everything that you need from top quality kitchen utilities, spacious bedrooms with percale cotton linen, to a reliable cleaner to ensure the holiday of a lifetime.
KITCHEN | LOUNGE | DINING ROOM
Kitchen utilities include dishwasher, glass top stove, oven, microwave, double-door fridge and a large range of top quality cookware, crockery and cutlery. The dining room offers an 8 seater square dining table that is open to the kitchen so mom never feels excluded in the conversations.
Comfy sofa and chairs fill the lounge with a work space in the sun room.
Unlimited WiFi & 55cm smart TV with access to netflix, showmax, youtube and anything you're looking for on the internet.
BEDROOMS
The master bedroom has a king size bed with extra length & a bathroom en-suite.
2nd guest bedroom has a queen size bed & bathroom next to it.
2 x bed bunk in the kiddies room adjacent to the second bedroom, which is also suitable for teenages. The 3rd bedroom has 2 x single beds which is next to 3rd bathroom.
All bed linen & duvet covers are 100% cotton percale, with bedside lamps and overhead room light and fan.
We do not offer access to a washing machine but instead have a cleaner who will come and do your washing for you at an additional charge, or there is a laundromat at the top of the road, approximately 100m away, a very comfortable walk.
There is free secure off street parking (inside the property) for about 4 cars, which is handy for your guests and secure street parking if there's an overflow.
ACCESS
You have full access to the house.
Keys with a remote control for the electric gate will be issued on arrival.
The host will welcome you into the home at an agreed arrival time.
We are also happy to recommend highlights in the area and surrounds. We have a guest manual which will give you all the information that you need for the area.
We will always be available on our cell phones for any queries.
This prestigious and centrally located neighborhood is positioned in between 2 mountains, and what makes it so special is that it's only 200m walking distance from Fish Hoek main beach that also includes a beach restaurant and an ice cream shop that always has a queue.
Take a short stroll to the shopping centre 100m if that, which includes a supermarket, bottlestore, a chinese take-away, coffee shop and mobile repair shop if you find yourself needing one. The property is also situated within walking minutes from pharmacy, hair salon, printing house, coffee shops and ATM's, and if you want to drive, it's around the hill from the famous wine farms.
You can't get a better location in Fish Hoek where it's possible to walk to everything that you need.
Uber taxis operate in the area, but are not always available, and this is why being able to walk everywhere is great.
We have a reliable cleaner who works on Wednesdays weekly (excluding public holidays) from 09:00 until 15:00. If you'd like a cleaner more than once a week, this can be arrange - the cost will be R600 per additional day which you can pay her directly.
OTHER THINGS TO NOTE
You can explore a couple of hiking and biking trails from your doorstep. Kalk Bay is 2km away and this little town offers restaurants, interesting tourist shops, souvenirs, paintings, african art and so much more, it's a must to visit.
There is a local pub that gets very festive on fridays and weekends but is open the whole week - drinks are so reasonable that you won't find it difficult to become a regular visitor.
